Types of Music

The festivals of the Kalasha are filled with songs and dances.
Songs play an important role in the festivals, and without them, the festivals will not be fulfilled. Special songs are sung on specific events and sometimes they even have a significance equal to a ritual.

Here I have classified their music into five categories from its musical structure and will explain its characteristic respectively.

1. Dance Songs

2. Monotonous Chants

3. Rhythmical Songs

4. Flute

5. Dance Tunes of Tsatruma (converted Kafirs) coming soon
