Children go to the far end of the village to collect reeds from the mountain side. Girls will sing "a song of Chuinari" while waiting. When the reeds are collected everyone gets in a raw holding tightly on to one another's back and pulling and pushing, march back to the village. The procession will halt here and there and the prayer for the hornless ram "konda meshalak " will be sang.
