Laspur is located in the southern part of Mastuj area, just at the bottom of Shandur Pass that leads to the Gilgit side. Here the people is famous for their music liking and Mr. Amir Ullah Yaftali, the patron of the musicians held us a grand traditional musical party one day.

It started with pastok and northic, continued by folk songs sung with a sitar and Duff, and ended with the famous Luk Zur and Nan Doshi. These two songs are aof Laspur origin, a trajedic song known all over Chitral.

The people of Laspur have a pride for their music.
