In the evening, every woman will be purified by the smoke of juniper (shishau).
After women are purified men will gather at the altar of Mahandeo for their purification (istongas). A lamb will be offered to the god and it's blood will be sprinkled.
During this ritual the remaining women will sing a prayer song "bidrakalen" in the village.
Thus the whole society of the Kalasha will be purified and the gods will come to the village. From this time on, no outsiders can enter the village.
